Fulham four storey house refurbishment

We completely refurbished this four-storey house in a series of projects, with a brief to create something ‘outside of the norm’.

The house was completely run-down when we started the project and we completely re-fitted a new ground-floor kitchen and first-floor bedroom, along with an intricate bespoke en-suite bathroom. The limestone bath involved several curves and steps, with a lightweight sub-structure. It was positioned behind a cross-grained sycamore screen, on which was hung a rectangular glass basin and a wall hung toilet. We also redesigned the stair balustrading and handrail to reflect nautical curves and angles.

Two bedrooms were redesigned with cross grained oak joinery and wardrobes, and another bespoke bathroom was created, with a limestone bath and a new megaflow system. We installed new full-height oak doors, frames and architraves. The next phase of the project was the master bedroom refurbishment and the creation of a stunning en-suite bathroom. The LNZ Refurbishments design team took the owner’s vision, sketched out on graph paper, and turned it into a stunning bedroom/bathroom which featured in the Kitchens and Bathrooms supplement of House and Garden magazine. The en-suite featured an elliptical white stone bath and two matching basins, a walk-through shower with glass screen, black glass mosaic feature wall, and a feature mosaic depicting a 'young Napoleon'. The bedroom had a full-height walnut door, a walnut and opaque glass pocket door, walnut architraves and skirting boards, and a blue fabric wallpaper.

The basement was then refurbished to house a cinema and office. A Fowler & Co bespoke staircase was fitted, along with tall storage units on one wall, behind large oak and glass sliding screens.
